    PRAGUE: Forty international TV series and films were shot in the Czech Republic in 2018. With 194.7 m EUR / 5 billion CZK, 2018 became one of the strongest years for foreign productions benefitting from the 20% incentives in the Czech Republic.

    Foreign crews spent more than 1,000 shooting days on Czech locations and in studios in 2018, of which German productions had almost 400 shooting days on Czech locations and spent almost 37.4 m EUR / 960 m CZK, according to Pavlína Žipková, Head of Czech Film Commission. Fourteen projects had a German producer or coproducer.

    The first season of the TV series Whiskey Cavalier produced by Doozer and Warner Bros. Television for the American ABC is set to premiere on 24 February 2019. The shooting in the Czech Republic started in September 2018 and continued in 2019.

    This 13-episodes action comedy directed by Peter Atencio, Jon East, Romeo Tirone, Bob Bailey, Matthew A Cherry, Amanda Marsailis and Michael Spiller cooperated in Prague with the domestic company Stillking Films, which provided services. The project spent 100 shooting days in the Czech Republic and received a rebate of 8.75 m EUR / 224 m CZK.
