The film, a family drama set on the Danube delta in Romania, had previously won the Golden Reel award at Hungarian Film Week.
Speaking of receiving the FIPRESCI prize, Mondruczo told the Hungaria News Agency MTI, "This is a very prestigious award. It gives me encouragement to continue working."The film was produced by Hungary's ProtonCinema Ltd (www.protoncinema.hu), Germany's Essential Filmproduction, and Hungary's FilmPartners (www.filmpartners.hu). Berlin firm The Coproduction Office (www.thecopro.de) is handling world sales.
