FESTIVALS: Russia Takes Top Prize at goEast Featured

WIESBADEN: The Russian debut film Acid by Alexander Gorchilin won the Best Film award at the 19th goEast film festival at the closing ceremony on 16 April 2019.

Two Polish coproductions took home awards: Home Games directed by Alisa Kovalenko and the documentary Strip and War directed by Andrei Kutsila.

The president of the jury was the Macedonian director/writer/producer Teona Strugar Mitevska.
