Touch Me Not Expected to Be Sold in 40 Territories

    BUCHAREST: Adina Pintilie’s Golden Bear and the GWFF Best First Feature Award winner at the 2018 Berlinale, Touch Me Not was sold by Doc & Film in 12 territories. Representatives of Doc &Film told FNE that the film is expected to be sold in 30-40 territories.

    Deals have been signed so far with I-Wonder in Italy, Lev Cinemas (Israel), Leopardo (Portugal), New Horizons (Poland), Contact Film (Benelux), Xenix (Switzerland), Swallow Wings (Taiwan), Kinove (Ukraine), Mars Media (Turkey), Vertigo Media (Hungary), Feel Good (Greece) and EstinFilm (Estonia).

    Negotiations with Ex-Yougoslavia, USA, Latin America, Korea, Australia and Japan are underway. Negotiations are advanced for the coproducing territories, including Nour Films in France.

    Touch Me Not / Nu mă atinge-mă was produced by Romania’s Manekino Film in coproduction with RohFilm Productions (Germany), PINK from the Czech Republic, Bulgaria’s Agitprop Ltd and France’s Les Films de l'Étranger.

    The project received production support from the Romanian Film Centre, EURIMAGES, Torino Film Lab, MDM (Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung) Germany, the Bulgarian National Film Center, the Czech Film Fund and Strasbourg Urban Community. It also received an ARTE award at Cinemart 2011 and MEDIA development support, and was selected for Atelier Cinéfondation of Cannes Film Festival 2012, Binger FilmLab, Torino Film Lab and Sarajevo Work in Progress 2016.
