Brancusi is produced by Cornelia Paloş and Artis Film (http://www.artisfilm.ro/en/index.html), and directed by Adrian Popovici. The screenplay is written by Radu Aneste Petrescu, Ioan Cărmăzan and Pascal Ilie Virgil.

Cornelia Paloş told FNE that besides negotiations with American, French, and Moldavian partners, the project already has on a generous grant of €437,000 from the National Film Centre (http://www.cncinema.abt.ro/) and €22,000 from Romanian National Television (http://www.tvr.ro/).

If the production will remain 100% local, the budget will be €835,000.

Shooting will take place next spring in Romania. The casting currently taking place. The premiere is set for autumn 2010.
