ZAGREB: Stanislav Tomic is in development/early preproduction with action comedy Tune-up / Po tamburi. The film is set to be a coproduction between Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Slovenia, and it has already received support from the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
TALLINN: Estonian director Vallo Toomla is currently filming a portrait documentary under the working-title Marju Lepajõe. Words of the Days / Marju Lepajõe. Päevade sõnad, which will premiere in 2019.
LJUBLJANA: Corporation, the second feature film from director Matej Nahtigal, began filming on 9 November 2018. A 30-day shooting schedule is planned, ending on 23 December.
PRAGUE: The popular Czech actor-turned-director Jiri Madl is completing his second film On the Roof to debut in 2019, a year after originally scheduled.
WARSAW: Małgorzata Szumowska is developing a Polish/German coproduction entitled The Masseur.
PRAGUE: A film version of the Czech bestseller The Last Aristocrat, directed by Jiří Vejdělek, is in preproduction for release in 2019.
RIGA: Latvian Emerging Producer at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, Lelde Pruse continues her collaboration with the award-winning director Karlis Lesins, who has completed shooting on his feature film debut The Despair.
BRATISLAVA: Slovak novelist/scriptwriter Vito Staviarsky along with his sons, director Richard Staviarsky and editor Juraj Staviarsky, and daughter, producer Marka Staviarska, are in post-production with their first feature film Loli Paradicka, produced by their family company Staviarsky and coproduced by the Slovak Radio and TV.
BRATISLAVA: Slovak director/writer/producer Marko Škop is in post-production with his second feature film Let There be Light / Nech je svetlo.
SZCZECIN: Patryk Vega is working on a sequel to his box-office hit Women of Mafia with an international cast and release planned for February 2019.
