The first international exhibit of Croatian film heritage at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow will open on November 3rd, 2018. From then, until the end of the month, the Russian public will have an opportunity to watch films that link Russian (and Soviet) film professionals and themes with Croatian cinematography and film professionals in the ‘Russia – Croatia: Film Dialogues’ programme.

The international jury, made up of film professionals, awarded the Silver Eye prize for best feature length film to the Czech-Croatian co-production by Jan Gebert at the 22nd Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival. Furthermore, the film also won at the 25th Astra Film Festival in Romania.

BRATISLAVA: Slovak novelist/scriptwriter Vito Staviarsky along with his sons, director Richard Staviarsky and editor Juraj Staviarsky, and daughter, producer Marka Staviarska, are in post-production with their first feature film Loli Paradicka, produced by their family company Staviarsky and coproduced by the Slovak Radio and TV.
