In frames of Batumi International Art-house Film Festival (BIAFF), industry platform “Alternative Wave” announces call for the projects.
Concept - Alternative Wave focuses on projects with alternative financing, distribution and development strategies. Participants will meet the sector experts, who will suggest possible trans-media / cross-media development potential. According to project’s needs artists from other fields will be invited to take part in the workshop.
Eligible projects - Innovative, trans-media/cross-media film projects (short, feature, documentary, animation) at the development stage.
Participants - Project can be submitted by producer, director, author, dancer, photographer, game developer, web designer, musician and etc.
Conditions - working language of the workshop is English. Alternative Wave will cover local costs (accommodation, food etc.) for two representatives of selected project.
Application documents:
- Short description of the project (1 page).
- CV of the producer, director or other artists involved in the project.
- Director, producer or other artist’s intentions.
- Film synopses.
- Preliminary financing plan of the project.
- Previous work (online link).
Date and Place - BIAFF Talent Campus will take place in Batumi (Seaside Resort on Black Sea) during 14 -20 September 2015.
Deadline for application - 05 August, 2015.
