The jury has unanimously decided to award the Propeller of Motovun to a war film that avoids all stereotypes about war. Instead it speaks about it with magic and original cinematic language, telling the story of a French unit in Afghanistan, far from their families. A film about faith, belief and living in truth all the while questioning what is right and wrong.

And the winner of the FIPRESCI Prize at the Motovun Film Festival goes to MAGICAL GIRL by Carlos Vermut.
