WARSAW: The Board of the Polish Filmmakers Association has elected a new team of officers to join President Jacek Bromski.

The Board named two Vice Presidents of the Polish Filmmakers: documentary filmmaker Karolina Bielawska, most recognised for her recent documentary Call Me Marianne (Studio Kalejdoskop); and director Dariusz Gajewski, highly praised for his recent feature drama Strange Heaven (TAKFILM).

"It is a great honor for me to be the member of the PFA's Board and even more so to be a Vice President (...) I think that the younger generation should actively take part in the work of bettering the whole film community, so we can preserve and continue the achievements of our older colleagues," Karolina Bielawska told FNE.

Accomplished Polish producer and creator of Akson Studio Michał Kwieciński was re-elected as the PFA's Treasurer.
