    WARSAW: The third part of the Christmas-themed Polish romantic comedy series, Letters to Santa 3, had 775,817 admissions since its 10 November 2017 premiere, making it the best opening weekend for 2017 and the second best opening for Poland in 30 years.

    The film is distributed by Kino Świat. Only the U.S. film 50 Shades of Grey with 834,479 tickets sold in 2016, has performed better.

    The third part of the hit series produced by Marta Grela-Gorostiza from TVN is directed by Tomasz Konecki and written by Marcin Baczyński and Mariusz Kuczewski. The all-star cast includes Wojciech Malajkat, Agnieszka Dygant, Piotr Adamczyk, Tomasz Karolak, Magdalena Różczka, Borys Szyc, Danuta Stenka, Iza Kuna, Filip Pławiak, Katarzyna Zawadzka, Andrzej Grabowski, Zbigniew Zamachowski and Stanisława Celińska.

    The TVN series, which has been called the Polish version of Love Actually, has been on top of the Polish box office for years, with Letters to Santa directed by Mitja Okorn selling 2.5 m admissions in 2011, followed by the sequel Letters to Santa 2 directed by Maciej Dejczar selling 2.5 m tickets in 2015.
