WROCŁAW: Nine Polish projects currently in production were showcased during the last day of Polish Days, an industry event held at T-Mobile New Horizons IFF. The list included new films by Agnieszka Holland, Greg Zgliński and Maciej Pieprzyca.

WROCŁAW: A special industry event showcased six new completed Polish projects at T-Mobile New Horizons IFF, including new titles from Przemysław Wojcieszek, Kuba Czekaj and Grzegorz Zariczny.

WROCŁAW: In the Last Days of the City by the Egyptian filmmaker Tamer El Said won the Grand Prix at the 16th T-Mobile New Horizons IFF, which took place from 21 to 31 July 2016.

WARSAW: T-Mobile New Horizons IFF industry event showcased nine upcoming projects including international coproductions and new films from Jacek Borcuch, Bodo Kox and Adrian Panek.

WROCŁAW: The 7th edition of New Horizons Studio hosts 24 participants from all over the world and will train them in story and project development and pitching as well as on how the international film market works.

WROCŁAW: The 16th edition of T-Mobile New Horizons IFF will present a showcase of Polish productions from 27 to 29 July 2016.

WROCLAW: Ten films will compete in the International Competition of the 16th T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival running from 21 to 31 July 2016.

GDYNIA: Sixteen titles will compete in the Main Competition of the 41th Gdynia Film Festival. The festival will take place from 19 to 24 September 2016. Headed by artistic director Michał Oleszczyk, Gdynia Film Festival  is considered to be one of the most significant selections for the Polish market.

WARSAW: Akson Studio, one of the major Polish production companies, created its own distribution brand on the Polish market, Akson Dystrybucja, that will work with Akson Studio productions and also with other titles.

WARSAW: Nominations for the 9th edition of Polish Film Institute (PISF) awards were announced on 11 July 2016. The gala will take place during the 41th Gdynia Film Festival (19-24 September 2016).
