PRODUCTION: Polish-Swedish Green Box Short Begins Filming

    WARSAW: The Big Leap, a Polish-Swedish coproduction directed by Kristoffer Rus, began shooting on 15 April at the new ATM Studio (www.atmstudio.eu) in Warsaw.

    The film is produced by Prasa & Film (www.prasaifilm.pl) and co-produced by East of West Cinema AB, Sweden, Telewizja Polska S.A. (www.tvp.pl), ATM FX and ATM Studio, and WFDiF (www.wfdif.com.pl).

    The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute (www.pisf.pl) and the Swedish Film Institute. Renata Czarnkowska - Listoś is the executive producer. New Europe Film Sales (www.neweuropefilmsales.com) handling world sales of the film and PR is handled by Wajda Studio (www.wajdafilm.pl).

    The short film is being shot using green box technology and animated using CGI technology.

    "It`s for sure the biggest enterprise that we ever decided to take part in," says Filip Kaczorek, Visual Effects Supervisor at ATM FX.

    The Big Leap is the story of three suicidal people with different beliefs about the afterlife meet on top of a skyscraper. The film stars Tilly Scott Pedersen and Arkadiusz Jakubik.
