Gods Dominates Polish Eagles 2015

    WARSAW: Polish box office hit of 2014 Gods won seven Polish Eagles awards including Best Film, Best Director and Best Script.

    The Polish Film Awards Polish Eagles gala took place on 2 March 2015 in Warsaw. The Best Film award was given to Gods, a Polish box office biopic about Zbigniew Religa, directed by Łukasz Palkowski and produced by Piotr Woźniak-Starak and Krzysztof Rak of Watchout Productions. The picture also took the Best Screenplay prize for Krzysztof Rak and the Audience Award.

    The Polish Eagle for the Best Actor was won by Tomasz Kot for his portrayal of Zbigniew Religa in Gods while Maja Ostaszewska was named the Best Actress for her role in Władysław Pasikowski's Jack Strong. Warsaw 44, a major costume production about the Warsaw Uprising and a box office hit in 2014, won the most of technical prizes including Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design and Best Editing.
