PRODUCTION: Shia LaBeouf to Shoot The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman in Romania

BUCHAREST: Fredrik Bond's first feature The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman will bring Shia LaBeouf, Evan Rachel Wood, Melissa Leo, Mads Mikkelsen, Til Schweiger and James Buckley to Bucharest. Shooting is set to start the end of May and to last for one month. MediaPro Studios (www.mediaprostudios.com) are providing facilities.

The Necessary Death of Charlie Countrymanis an action-comedy-romance involving an American (Shia LaBeouf) travelling in Europe after the death of his mother (Melissa Leo) and falling in love with a Hungarian girl (Evan Rachel Wood), claimed by a cruel mobster (Mads Mikkelsen).

The film is a U.S. production from Bona Fide Productions (www.thebonafideproductioncompany.com) and Voltage Pictures (www.voltagepictures.com). Matt Drake wrote the screenplay, Roman Vasyanov is the DOP and Moby is composing the score. This is Moby's first project for the cinema. Shooting will take place on location and at MediaPro Studios.
