BUCHAREST: The new project Ana, Mon Amour from the acclaimed writer/director Călin Peter Netzer will investigate the romantic relationship with all its dependencies and crisis situations against the backdrop of the social realities of Romania.
The film will be an adaptation of Cezar-Paul Bădescu's novel Luminiţa, Mon Amour with the script co-written by Netzer and Bădescu. Casting for main characters is in progress. Andrei Butică (Child’s Pose) is the DoP and Dana Bunescu (The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceausescu produced by Icon Production) will edit.
Oana Kelemen is producing through Parada Film, the same company that produced Child’s Pose. There are German and French coproducers involved, although their names have not been announced yet.
