BUCHAREST: Tommy Wirkola’s What Happened to Monday? starring Noomi Rapace and Glenn Close will be shot entirely in Romania with Castel Film providing services this summer.
The project entered the preparation stage a few days ago. The script, written by Max Botkin and Kerry Williamson, is set in a world where families are allowed only one child due to overpopulation.
The medium-budget project is produced by Raffaella De Laurentiis through Seven Siblings. Shooting will take place mostly at Castel Films studios and also on location. Shooting will start mid-July 2015 and will wrap beginning of November 2015. The premiere is set for 2016.
