VILNIUS: Twenty four projects from six countries will be presented during the Coming Soon session and Industry screenings at the 7th MEETING POINT – VILNIUS on 12-14 April 2016, during the Vilnius International Film Festival (31 March -14 April 2016).

Documentary Campus, EDN and BCPF - The Broadcasting Content Promotion Foundation - are calling filmmakers to submit their documentary projects (series, one-offs and cross-platform) for the 2016 edition of the Crossing Borders programme. The submission deadline is 15 April 2016.

24 film projects from 6 countries will be presented during the Coming Soon session and Industry screenings at the 7th international film industry event MEETING POINT – VILNIUS. The event will take place on April 12-14, during the Vilnius International Film Festival.

JIHLAVA: The submissions for the 20th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival are open. The festival will take place on 25-30 October 2016.

Since its launch in 2005, over 100 remarkable documentary projects from Central and Eastern Europe have been presented at Docu Talents from the East.

WARSAW: Papusza by Krzysztof Krauze and Joanna Kos-Krauze was released in the UK on 1 April 2016.

BUCHAREST: Romance TV will launch in Romania and Hungary on 3 May 2016.

The 5th Visegrad Film Forum (VFF) with a five-day programme full of master classes with renowned experts, runs from April 5 – 9 with the leading topic audience development and film literacy.

These development and production grants for low budget feature films were approved by the Ministry of Education and Culture in November 2014 for 2015.

BUCHAREST: Ştefan Buzea’s Mercy Street, the first 3D animated feature film made with 100% Romanian technique, will hit the domestic screens in mid-April 2016.
