PRAGUE: The Hungarian/French coproduction Mr. Mare / Lidér úr directed by Lucy Tóth was awarded best film in the Heart of Europe competition section of the 26th International Film Clubs Festival Febiofest Slovakia.

BRATISLAVA: Young Slovak director Michal Blaško is currently in preproduction with his debut feature Victim. This Slovak/Czech/Ukrainian coproduction was selected for Cinéfondation’s Atelier in Cannes. Its shooting is set for the autumn of 2019.

BRATISLAVA: The competition section In the Heart of Europe of the 26th International Film Clubs Festival Febiofest Slovakia (20-26 March 2019) will present a selection of 20 short, fiction, documentary, animated and experimental films from V4 countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland) alongside Austria.

BRATISLAVA: The acclaimed Slovak director Jaro Vojtek is currently in postproduction with documentaries 7 Days / 7 dní and Earthly Paradise / Raj na Zemi (working titles). Both of them are set to premiere in the autumn of 2019 and both are supported by the Slovak Audiovisual Fund.
