Prosta historia o morderstwie /Simple Murder Story is a crime drama the about domestic violence. Arkadiusz Jakubik developed and wrote the script together with Igor Brejdygant and Grzegorz Stefaniak. The film will be a continuation of Jakubik's debut feature, Prosta historia o milości/Simple Love Story produced by Tramway Film Studio in 2010.
Simple Murder Story is produced by Film It with a planned budget of approximately 1.24m EUR/5.2m PLN. The project already received a grant of 477,285 EUR/ 2 m PLN from the Polish Film Institute.
The cast will include Andrzej Chyra, Kinga Preis and Filip Pławiak. Witold Płóciennik is the DoP. The premiere is set for 2016.
