Marin also wrote the script.The central character is Radu, played by Vlad Ivanov (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, Mobra Films), a wealthy man who finds out that he needs a heart transplant. Afraid of death, he is unable to accept his fate and travels to the Danube Delta to confront his past and acknowledge the remains of his empty life.
Alexandru Teodorescu is producing through SAGA FILM. The project won a production grant of 6,741 EUR from the National Film Center (www.cnc.gov.ro). The total budget is approximately 876,000 EUR, representatives of SAGA FILM told FNE.
Shooting started in October 2014 with 12 shooting days in Bucharest in May 2015 and another 12 days in the Danube Delta in August 2015. There are 26 shooting days.
The premiere is scheduled for summer/autumn 2016.
