KATOWICE: Poland’s regional Silesia Film Fund announced grants totaling 630,000 PLN to coproduce seven films in 2013. 

WARSAW: Polish producer Opus Film may join the international coproduction of the drama The Cut by German director Fatih Akin.  Opus Film was also a coproducer on the sci-fi film The Congress directed by Ari Folman which premiered at the 66th Cannes IFF.

CRACOW: Polish director Wojciech Smarzowski's completes shooting on his drama The Mighty Angel on 18 May 2013, concluding 47 days of filming that began in November 2012.
