The programme lasts 10 months during which 12 teams (producer + scriptwriter) will be developing their projects from short synopsis to the second draft of the script together with production basics (estimated budget, financing and promotion plan).

By participating in the programme you will have a chance to work with our tutors: Kirsten Bonnen Rask, Armin Prediger, Philip LaZebnik and Ronald Kruschak. Also each session will be joined by invited experts to help you develop your project from different perspectives.

Why should I take part in the Kids Kino.Lab?

The Kids Kino.Lab is entirely dedicated to the projects for kids and gives you an opportunity to work with experts who excel in this field. If you are thinking of creating content for kids this programme is tailored for you.

The projects developed within the Kids Kino.Lab are presented and awarded at the most prestigious film festivals. Few days ago the “Triple Trouble” produced by Koi Studio have been selected to Cinekid IFF and Schingel IFF. “Let’s Go Grandpa!” produced by Furia Film, developed during last edition, received a Ceta Post Production award worth PLN 60.000 and got financing through the Polish Film Institute. “Travel Bugs” produced by Nedafilm (TV series from Greece), another project which took part in the last edition, received a Special Distinction at Animation du Monde and will be presented at Annecy next year.

These are some of the reasons why it’s worth developing your project with us. Submit your project before October 23rd and see for yourself!
