Partners of Polish Days

    The biggest industry event in Poland, Polish Days, will take place from 15th till 17th August in the frame of 21st New Horizons IFF. During Polish Days, 20  films at various stages of production will be presented to the international film industry representatives.

    As each year Polish Days is organised together with wonderful partners that grant numerous awards:

    • Screen International will grant an award for one of the works-in-progress, offering coverage of  the project during next stages of production

    • Polish Film Institute will grant scholarship for the EAVE 2022 Producers Workshop for one  producer 

    • Coloroffon will grant its Post-production Award 

    • No Problemo Music will offer cooperation with music library 

    There are various accompanying events at Polish Days this year.

    For the second time, Polish Days will host First Cut Lab - a programme dedicated to feature films in the editing stage. 

    Polish and German producers will meet to discuss Polish-German Co-Production. This event is co-organised with Connecting Cottbus, the FilmFestival Cottbus and Medienboard Berlin Bradenburg. Additionaly, Polish Film Institute will hold meetings about the Cash Rebate scheme in Poland. 

    No Problemo Music will organize the online workshop focused on copyrights, music licensing and the role of music in an audiovisual piece (open to the public).

    Script Atelier participants will give a pitch of their projects and the EAVE representative will meet with Polish producers. Kids Kino Industry representatives will also be available for one-on-one meetings. 

    In addition, on the 15th of August there will be an open lecure: How to green a film industry – sustainable film production, co-organized with Creative Europe Desk Poland in the frame of New Horizons Studio+ 2021.     Polish Days is co-organized by the Polish Film Institute. Event partners include EAVE, the Screen International, Coloroffon, No Problemo Music, the Wrocław Film Commission, the Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission, the Łódź Film Commission, the Podkarpackie Film Commission, the Silesia Film Commission and DI Factory.
