Last Call for Baltic Sea Forum

    RIGA: Documentary projects applications for the 20th Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries, the annual co-financing forum for documentary projects, are due by 7 June. The forum is organised by the National Film Centre of Latvia in collaboration with the European Documentary Network.

    Baltic Sea Forum will take place in Riga, Latvia, 7-11 September 2016.

    A preparation workshop will be organised for the selected projects 7-9 September. The pitching session which takes place 10 -11 September will be followed by individual meetings with TV broadcasters and sales agents. The workshop and pitching is combined with film screenings.

    Documentary filmmakers representing greater Baltic Sea Region, former USSR and Eastern Bloc countries are eligible to submit up to three projects per company. Projects from any other European country are also able to apply if the subject is related to the Baltic Sea region.

    Selection results will be announced on 11 July. Approximately 24 projects will be invited to participate in the Baltic Sea Forum for Documentaries.
