Lithuania Announces 2013 Grants

    VILNIUS: The Lithuanian Film Centre has approved production grants for five films. 

    The films include three coproductions, one documentary, and one animated short film. 

    The largest grant, 346,385 EUR, went to a Lithuanian-British coproduction produced by Kino Kultus.

    Santa, a Finnish-Lithuanian coproduction from director/writer Marius Ivaškevičius and produced by ARTBOX received 74,026 EUR.  

    The Lithuanian-Latvian coproduction The Gambler (Lošėjas) from director Ignas Jonynas and produced by Studio Uljana Kim and the Latvia's Locomotive Productions received 133,399 EUR. 

    The full length documentary film Luckus produced by Just a Moment received  29,309 EUR, and the animation film studio Vilanima received 20,273 EUR for the animated short film Laimė-nelaimė.
