By FNE Staff

The Polish Film Festival in Gdynia puts Czech films into focus on September 18, with Czech Film Day.

A highlight will be the conference "Like in Czech Film," where Czech filmmakers will discuss Czech cinema and the possibilities for Czech-Polish cooperation. The conference will be attended by producers Pavel Strnad (Negativ), Helena Uldrichová (Barrandov Studio), Martin Vandas (MAUR Film) and Ondřej Trojan (Total Helpart T.H.A).

Czechs are also represented in the main competition section, with Czech director Petr Zelenka's co-production Brothers Karamazov. A further 9 Czech films will be screened in Gdynia.
