Pintilie Fund first grantees: Cristi Iftime, Anghel Damian and Bogdan Mureșanu
Adi BulboacaBUCHAREST: Lucian Pintilie Film Fund, the first project initiated by the newly established Fundația9, aims at honouring the memory of the great Romanian director as well as encouraging art house cinema made by new directors.
The first filmmakers to benefit from the Fund are Cristi Iftime, Anghel Damian and Bogdan Mureșanu, who received 20,000 EUR each for their upcoming short projects.
Fundația9 is an initiative supported by BRD Groupe Société Générale. One of the members of its Directorial Council is Corina Șuteu, Minister of Culture from May 2016 to January 2017.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
