The Slovenian Girl is a 23-year-old student with plans for her life, who finds life is not as easy as she naively expected. Facing financial problems after buying a flat with loan, the manipulative young woman, accomplished liar, and a bit of a thief, turns to prostitution and runs her personal ads under the nickname "The Slovenian Girl." Following a meeting in a hotel room with a politician who suddenly dies of stroke, and with police and creditors desperately looking for her, she wants nobody to discover her past.
The €1.5 million film was made in production with Emotion Film with coproducers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Germany.
