Distribution Award for Slovenian Film

    Let Us Go Our Own Way by Slovenian director Miha Hocevar will receive a national Golden Roll Award, given to Slovene films that sell over 25,000 tickets in national distribution. Hocevar's family comedy has surpassed 30,000 admissions.

    The film, about a scouting trip with comic consequences, was targeted at family audiences for age 5 and up. It received the Audience Award at the 13th Slovenian Film Festival and a best actor for Jurij Zrnec, who plays the comic scout leader.

    The Golden Roll Award is given by the Association of Slovenian Filmmakers (www.drustvo-dsfu.si) and the national cinema operator Kolosej (www.kolosej.si). The film is distributed by Cinemania. Let Us Go our own Way had a record opening weekend for a Slovenian film, with over 18,000 admissions.
