This year, the largest film festival in Lithuania “Kino Pavasaris” will celebrate its 20th anniversary both inside and outside movie theatres. Fans of cinema will be able to see the most important new films and meet their creators during the festival, which will span two weeks starting March 19th, and take place in 5 Lithuanian cities.

JIHLAVA: Applications deadline for the 4th Emerging Producers (28 October-1 November 2015) is 30 April 2015. The project will take place during the 19th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival.

PRAGUE: The new edition of East Doc Platform (2-8 March 2015) brings new awards and new competition categories for projects in development. The symbol of this year’s edition is a shoe, hence the motto “Step into it!”.

Pawel Pawlikowski’s black and white drama Ida was awarded with an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and also with the Independent Spirit Award for Best International Film last weekend.
