VIENNA: Eleven films are competing in the feature competition of the 4th edition of LET’S CEE Film Festival from 1 to 11 October 2015.

ZAGREB: Nicole van Kilsdonk’s children film When My Father Became a Bush has started shooting in Zagreb. This Dutch-Croatian-Belgian coproduction will spend approximately 655,500 EUR / 5 m HRK in Croatia. 

VALLETTA: According to the Maltese media, Christian Bale will shoot in Malta in the coming months.

JIHLAVA: The 19th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival (JIDFF) announces the highlights of its programme. The festival takes place from 27 October to 1 November 2015.

CYPRUS: The tenth Cyprus International Film Festival (CYIFF) which runs 23-27 September is screening feature and short films in both Nicosia and Paphos.

Two new Czech documentaries, A Colourful Tail of a Flying Comet and Mills of God, were theatrically released in Czech Republic on 24 September 2015.

WARSAW: Sixteen films have been selected in the International Competition of the 31st Warsaw Film Festival. The festival will take place from 9 to 18 October 2015. 

PRAGUE: Ivo Trajkov's Honey Night is Macedonia's candidate in the Foreign-Language category at the 88th Academy Awards. The film is a Macedonian/Czech/Slovenian coproduction.

TRIESTE: When East Meets West, the Trieste based industry platform is accepting subsmissions for the sixth edition of the Coproduction Forum and for the second edition of the workshop First Cut Lab (24-26 January 2016).

ZAGREB: Rajko Grlić’s The Croatian Constitution started shooting in Zagreb on 21 September 2015.
