The 2020 Docu Talent Award was granted today at the Cinelink Industry Days @Sarajevo FF to the most promising documentary project from Central and Eastern Europe.
BUCHAREST: Romania has officially decided to resume the cash rebate scheme, which halted in 2019, by allotting 150 m EUR until 31 December 2023. The implementation rules of the Government decision will be approved by the minister of Economy, Energy and Business Environment within 30 days after the publication of the decision in the Romanian Official Gazette / Monitorul Oficial.

The selection includes documentary series by Hungarian director Bernadett Tuza-Ritter (A Woman Captured, 2017) and Bulgarian duo Boris Missirkov and Georgi Bogdanov (Palace for the People, 2018).
BERLIN: The first of the EFA (European Film Awards) Feature Film Selection 2020 includes 32 titles announced on 18 August 2020. A second announcement will take place in September, allowing the inclusion of films whose premieres were interrupted by the COVID-19 crisis.
VILNIUS: Lithuanian cinematographer Saulius Lukoševičius won the best Cinematography Award for the Italian/Lithuanian short film Unfolded, directed by Cristina Picchi, at Oscar Qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival.
