The Film New Europe Coproduction Meeting brought together the representatives of regional film funds with producers and film professionals during the recent Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF).  FNE TV reports about this successful event.

KARLOVY VARY: Film New Europe will be hosting a Coproduction Meeting at the new Kino Cas Filmmakers Lounge this year in Karlovy Vary during the 49th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF).

PRAGUE: The Red Captain, a Czech/Slovak/Polish detective thriller directed by Michal Kollar, will go into production on 21 July 2014.

WARSAW: After completing production in late May, the Polish/Czech/Slovak psychological thriller Red Spider has moved into postproduction through October 2014.

PRAGUE: The State Cinematography Fund´s new Filmmakers’ lounge located in the café of Čas cinema, T. G. Masaryka 3, will offer a new pleasant meeting point for film professionals during Karlovy Vary IFF.

PRAGUE: The Czech/Polish/Slovak genre-bending documentary Gottland based on the best-selling Polish book will launch a limited events-themed release in August 2014.

PRAGUE: The Czech/Polish/Slovak coproduction I, Olga Hepnarova will move into postproduction after two final days of shooting in the Slovak Tatra Mountains in August 2014, with plans to have the film completed by the end of 2014 and a release in fall 2015.
