    CALL FOR WORKS IN PROGRESS PROJECTS IS OPEN! 

    We are  now accepting submissions for its renowned Works in Progress showcase, taking place November 20–21, 2025. Projects can apply in three categories: Children and Youth Film (Just Film), Baltic Event Works in Progress (Baltic and Finnish projects), and International Works in Progress.

    Producers and directors are entitled to apply for the Works in Progress presentations with fiction, animation, or live-action animated film projects that will be in production or post-production by the time of the presentations. Just Film Works in Progress also welcomes feature-length documentaries aimed at children aged 7-13 and youth aged 14 and up. 

    The call will be open until 15 September 2025!

    BOOST YOUR SKILLS AT THE LABS FOR FILM PROFESSIONALS

    Join one of the three inspiring labs during Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event to boost your skills, ignite new ideas, and connect you with fellow film professionals from around the world.

    Tallinn Industry Academy for emerging professionals in the field of film circulation

    In collaboration with Locarno Pro, Tallinn Industry Academy returns with a second edition as a training ground for up-and-coming professionals working in film circulation—ideally under 40—with at least two years of experience in areas like sales, marketing, promotion, online and traditional distribution, exhibition, programming, curatorship, and cultural management.

    The 5-day extensive workshop will take place in Tallinn during 16–21 November.

    Breaking into the Industry: Mentorship Opportunity for Aspiring Producers

    Breaking Into the Industry is a specialized programme developed exclusively for Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event, led by acclaimed industry veteran Katriel Schory. The programme offers a rare chance to receive personalized mentorship, sharpen your storytelling and project development skills, and gain the confidence to bring your own voice and stories to life.

    The hands-on workshop is designed for emerging professionals with 1 to 5 years of experience in the film industry—particularly those working in production roles. Whether you're an independent producer or currently part of a larger company or set crew (e.g., junior producer, production assistant, line producer, 1st AD), this programme is for those ready to step into a more creative and strategic role.

    The in-person workshop will take place 17-21 November 2025 in Tallinn.

    Generative AI Atelier - a gateway to the future of filmmaking

    The second edition of the Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event Generative AI Atelier offers the participants the latest trends, hottest insights, and practical skills to understand, master, and implement AI in the film industry. With personalized learning experiences guided by some of the best experts and globally acclaimed mentors from Europe and beyond, the Atelier is your gateway to the future of filmmaking.

    The programme includes in-person session in November 17 to 19, 2025 in Tallinn and online session taking place in January 2026.

    With about three months go, accreditations are now open for Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event (14–21 November), Northern Europe’s leading audiovisual industry platform.

    This year offers eight days of masterclasses, case studies, workshops, project pitches, and networking, plus a record number of film and series showcases — from the Baltic Event Co-Production Market and Script Pool to Works in Progress, the European Genre Forum, and the TV Beats Co-Financing Market.

    Highlights of the programme include TV Beats Forum, Just Film Industry Days, and takes a close look at film industries of our Focus Region: Catalonia and Spotlight Country Austria.

    THE FIRST SERIAL BRIDGES BALTICS CALLS FOR APPLICATIONS!

    In partnership with Series Mania Institute, Institut français, and Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event, Serial Bridges Baltics is  looking for six awesome projects led by writer/producer duos from Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.

    The selected participants will join a free five-day programme packed with group sessions and one-on-one mentoring from two international experts during 13-18 November in Tallinn, Estonia. It all will be wrapped up with a pitch at the TV Beats Forum!

    The call will be open until 8 September 2025!
