OBITUARY: Jaroslava Adamova

    {mosimage}PRAGUE: The Czech press reported that Czech actress Jaroslava Adamova has died at age 87.

    Adamova appeared in numerous notable Czech films, most recently in the upcoming film by David Ondricek, Ve Stinu (www.luckymanfilms.com).

    In her 60+ year career, she was awarded the prestigious Thalia award for lifelong contribution to the theatre, the Medal of Merit from then president Vaclav Havel, and an award for dubbing. She dubbed the voice of Meryl Streep and Sophia Loren, among others.
