Visegrad Animation Forum Adds Features to its Pitching Session

    TREBON: The sixth annual Visegrad Animation Forum, held 1-3 May 2018 in the Czech spa town of Trebon, will add six animated feature film projects to its established short film and TV series pitching forum.

    It is organised by the Visegrad Animation Forum in cooperation with the Anifilm Festival and the newly established CEE Animation platform. VAF, which takes place during the Anifilm festival, 1-6 May, is expanding its original territory focus to include the first Macedonian animated feature film, along with films representing the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Croatia. A sign of the success of VAF and its aims can be seen in the number of projects that are envisioned as coproductions between CEE countries.This will be the first time in history that the region of Central and Eastern Europe will see a presentation of feature films that are still in development. 

    The full three-day schedule includes three sets of pitching sessions, along with country presentations from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.

    VAF will present several awards, including financial prizes and access to Cartoon Forum and Cartoon Movie.
