Lithuanian Films at EFM

    VILNIUS: Seven Lithuanian films will be presented at the European Film Market at the Berlinale IFF.

    The line-up consists of four documentaries and three feature films. Two of the documentaries focus on human rights in Belarus. The selection also includes feature films from Kristina Buozyte, Maris Martinsons and Romas Zabarauskas.

    Rolandas Kvietkauskas, the Head of the Lithuanian Film Centre, said, "Lithuanian directors bravely observe and judge the environment, they are not afraid to provoke, do not shun from the controversial topics or those topics that are sometimes considered a taboo. All seven Lithuanian films presented in Berlin’s film market are unique and distinctive.”

    Lithuania will be represented at the Lithuanian Films stand No. 124 at the EFM in Marriott Hotel.
