Directing duo wraps road movie

    The shoot for Miracle Seller, a Polish road movie from a pair of music video directors, wraps filming on the 30th of October 30.
    The movie's plot evolves around a friendship between two immigrant children from Daghestan and a recovering alcoholic who embark upon an illegal journey from the easterb border of Poland to the south of France. Borys Szyc, a rising young Polish actor, plays the part of the former alcoholic.

    The movie is directed by Bolewslaw Pawica and Jaroslaw Szoda, a duet that is responsible for several musical video clip productions. Pawica's directing credits include hit Polsat television series Adam and Eve and Samo Zycie (Just Life) and the TVN ratings hit Magda M. Szozda, a leading Polish camera operator makes his directing debut with this production. The script was written by Mitko Panov, a Macedonian writer and director educated in Poland and USA.

    The movie was produced by Fabryka - Spolka Realizatorow Filmowych i Telewizyjnych (www.fabryka.home.pl) in co-production with the Polish public broadcaster PTV-Television Agency (www.tvp.pl). The picture's total budget is PLN 5.3 million (1.4 million euros) with a PLN 1.7 million from the Polish Film Institute(www.pisf.pl). Miracle Seller was also supported by the Performance Marketing Group (www.performance.pl).
