HBO Launches VOD in Poland

    WARSAW: HBO Central Europe has announced the launch of HBO GO. its first video on demand service in Central and Eastern Europe, in Poland.

    The selection of HBO productions available to each viewer through the internet will be available first to clients of Polish company INEA S.A. (www.inea.pl), the biggest regional communication operator in the Major Poland province. HBO Central Europe is planning to expand this service into 14 CEE countries, where it will be available to all viewers who bought an HBO package from their regional cable providers.

    "We are happy to announce the first European launch of this innovative service. We will develop our television offer, currently also available trough the internet, to ensure our clients high quality entertainment." said Linda Jensen, the President of HBO Central Europe (www.hbo-centraleurope.com).

    HBO GO will include over 100 hours of a diverse selection of films, series, documentaries and music concerts from the current HBO line up. The productions will be available on VOD before they premiere on television. The offer will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and it will change weekly.
