Montenegro participating for the first time with an Academy Award Entry in screenings programme in Los Angeles

This year will again see European Film Promotion (EFP) helping to generate the greatest attention possible for several European films during the forthcoming awards season. Between November 6-14, EFP will be casting the spotlight on a record number of 14 titles among those European films submitted for consideration as Best Foreign Language Film at the next Academy Awards. The line-up includes Drasko Durovic's Ace of Spades - Bad Destiny from Montenegro which is submitting a film for the first time as an independent country. EFP's film programme will be targeting Academy members, selected press, international buyers attending the American Film Market, and the L.A.-based industry. Financial support comes from the MEDIA Programme of the European Union, EFP member organisations, and some of the participating production companies.
