    Debut feature by renowned Slovak documentary filmmaker Jaro Vojtek CHILDREN (orig. Deti, SK-CZ 2014) will have its international premiere at the upcoming 5th Beijing IFF (April 16 - 24, 2015), competing for theTiantan Award decided by a seven-member jury of Luc Besson, Fyodor Bondarchuk, Peter Chan, Robert Mark Kamen, Kim Ki-duk, Fernando Meirelles and Zhou Xun.

    KOZA by Ivan Ostrochovský is the Best Film at Vilnius FF Kino Pavasaris

    Ivan Ostrochovský´s KOZA (SK – CZ 2015) scored two awards at the 20th anniversary edition of Vilnius Film Festival – Kino Pavasaris (March 19 - April 2, 2015), named the Best Film of the  New Europe - New Names Competition and receiving the Art Cinema Award  by C.I.C.A.E.

    SLOVAK FILM WEEK launched in Bratislava / April 13-19

    The Slovak Film and Television Academy, Slovak Film Institute and the Radio and Television Slovakialaunch a specialized Slovak film festival as a reaction on the recent developments in the Slovak audiovisual industry, changes in film financing, growth in actual film production, and also as a means to “reintroduce” Slovak filmmaking to Slovak audiences. In its pilot edition, the event is mainly aimed at Slovak viewers, however, has the ambition to grow more international in the upcoming editions.
