    Tutors for 2018:

    Ulla Simonen (FI/MADE) 
     
    Founder of the Helsinki production company MADE, Ulla is also a tutor, advisor and consultant for documentary and fiction projects. She has recently produced 'Don Juan' (2015), 'Garden Lovers' (2014), and 'Columbianos' (2012). Ulla was the artistic Director of DocPoint Documentary Film Festival from 2013-2016.

    Freddy Neumann 
    (DK/Neumann PR & Strategic Communication)
     
    Founder of Neumann PR & Strategic Communication, Freddy is a PR and marketing specialist, concentrated primarily on cinema (feature and documentary film). He focuses on strategic consulting, communication management, corporate and product branding, public affairs, and media awareness.

    Stephan Krumbiegel (DE) 
     
    As a freelance editor for feature and documentary films Stephan has edited many award-winning films, such as 'Berlin Symphony’ (by Thomas Schadt), and 'White Ravens – Nightmare in Chechnya’ (by Johann Feindt / Tamara Trampe). Stephan is now a professor of film editing at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg.

    Nanna Frank Møller (DK) 
     
    Co-founder of the Society of Danish Film Editors, Nanna has edited over 40 films and made her debut as a director in 2007 with 'Someone Like You’ which won the Talent Dove at the International Leipzig Film Festival. She is currently a guest teacher at the National Film School of Denmark.

    François Sculier (FR) 
     
    Before directing movies, François began his career by editing many short films in the 80's (narrative, experimental and documentaries). Since then he has edited and directed many documentary films that have been screened and awarded prizes at international festivals.

    Joëlle Alexis (BE/IL) 
     
    Joëlle has been working on full length documentaries for over 20 years and her works have been selected by Cannes, IDFA, Sundance and many other festivals. More recently, Joëlle has been the editing consultant on documentaries needing an extra hand and gives international masterclasses.

    Serge Gordey (FR/Temps Noir) 
     
    Serge Gordey specialises in producing creative documentaries on an international level and is a strong advocate for enhancing their role. He was the French co-producer of the Oscar-nominated and International Emmy awarded 'Five Broken Cameras’ (Emad Burnat & Guy Davidi).

    Grant Keir (UK/Faction North) 
     
    Grant has produced films and TV programmes on four continents and attends all the major film markets and festivals. He specialised in coaching creative start-up entrepreneurs in how to pitch to decision-makers more effectively.
