BLACK ROOM IS IN SEARCH OF ART DEPARTMENT CREW MEMBERS

Black Room is Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event's training programme dedicated to the visual language and artistry of cinema. Each year, the course invites art department crew members - production designers, art directors, costume designers, makeup artists, props masters, etc.,- to participate in a masterclass aimed to empower their skills and industry knowledge in creating visually compelling cinematic worlds.
Black Room 2026 focuses on production design in film. The four days of workshops will be divided into topics like production design and art directing, collaborations within the art department, and tools to expand your artistic toolkit.
Tthe masterclasses will be led by an renowned mentor, who selects a topic to reflect on current issues in film industry to better the expertise and knowledge in working as a creative professional.
The program will take place 16-20 November 2026 in Tallinn during the Industry@Tallin &; Baltic Event.

SCRIPT POOL SEEKS FILM PROJECTS WITH INTERNATIONAL POTENTIAL

Script Pool, part of the Discovery Campus and Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event, is accepting applications from first-time feature filmmakers with projects that have strong international potential. Each year, five selected teams (director-screenwriter and producer) receive tailored mentoring in script development, pitching, distribution, and audience design, while connecting with international financiers, sales agents, and co-production partners.
The programme has helped launch projects that later premiered at major festivals including Cannes, Venice, and Toronto. Applications are open until 30 June 2026, and the selected teams will participate in the programme during Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event in November in Tallinn.

BRING YOUR STORIES TO LIFE WITH UNREAL ENGINE

Would you like to learn more about Unreal Engine to enhance your cinematic storytelling?
Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event invites filmmakers, storytellers, animators, game creators, and visual artists to apply for Unreal Engine Storytelling and Cinematic Creation, a new international training programme designed to explore the creative possibilities of Unreal Engine across film, animation, virtual production, and immersive media.
The intensive 10-week online residency is carried out by Dejan Ilić, an art director, multimedia artist, and Unreal Engine Authorized Instructor.
Participation fee: 185€ + VAT (24%)

CALL IS OPEN FOR BALTIC EVENT CO-PRODUCTION MARKET

Submissions are now open for the Baltic Event Co-Production Market, the leading international co-production platform in Northern Europe, a part of Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event.
In 2026, the market will again also highlight projects for younger audiences, welcoming full-length fiction, documentary, and animated films for children and youth.
All eligible projects submitted to the market will have the opportunity to compete for the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award including a non-reimbursable grant of €20,000, designated exclusively for the development of feature-length fiction, animation, or youth documentary co-productions.

SUBMIT YOUR DRAMA SERIES PROJECT TO TV BEATS CO-FINANCING MARKET

TV Beats Co-Financing Market brings together eight high-quality drama series projects in development with strong international sales and distribution potential. The 8 selected teams will meet financiers, broadcasters and potential co-production partners to advance their projects.
The motivation to take part in the market activities stays high as the it presents the Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award, worth €50,000, intended to foster creative collaborations in series co-production and empower independent producers. The award forms a part of the Pilot Programme for series co-productions, an initiative of the Council of Europe, and is open to independent producers from all Eurimages member states.
