Established in 1991, DISCOP EAST has grown to become the most important multiplatform content market targeting Central, Eastern Europe and Eurasia, a region fueled by double digit growth in disposable income and advertising spending, the ongoing digital switchover process, strong broadband deployment, a fast growing home-video marketplace, the construction of multiplex cinemas, and the vigorous emergence of IPTV.

DISCOP EAST takes place for 4 days in Budapest during the 3rd week of the month of June, from Tuesday to Friday, at the recently renovated 5-star SOFITEL ATRIUM HOTEL located in the heart of the city, on the banks of the Danube River.

The market is built around the pre-organizaton of meetings between participants regrouped into FOUR main categories:

+ CONTENT SELLERS International sales organisations from all over the world offering finished programs, feature films, scripted and unscripted formats, packaged TV channels attend DISCOP EAST with or without exhibit.

Thanks to the efficiency of our online MEETING ORGANISATION PLATFORM combined with the expertise of our highly-trained multilingual staff, most participants average 50 to 60 pre-arranged and spontaneous business meetings over the 4-day DISCOP EAST event.

The combination of these services have helped our participants make better use of their market time as many of them rely on our ability to identify new BUYING, SELLING or FUNDING opportunities on their behalf.
