INPUT comes to Warsaw

    The International Conference of Public Television (INPUT) takes place this year in Warsaw, from May 10-15.

    The world's largest gathering of public television stations, with a 30 year history, INPUT (www.input-2009.org) is held in a different country each year. The 2009 event marks the first time the conference has been held in a post-communist country.The location is expected to draw a large number of new participants from Central Europe.

    Organized by Polish TV and the city of Warsaw, the May conference anticipates the participation of representatives from 60 public TV broadcasters worldwide. The agenda includes screenings a discussions of select programmes with the object of furthering international cooperation among public television stations.
