TALLINN: Polish advertising and marketing company ADHD Warsaw continues its move into film production with The Wounded Beast directed by Piotr Trzaskalski. 

TALLINN: Algimants Puipa has completed filming on the Lithuanian drama The Garden of Eden.

TALLINN: Director Viestur Kairish takes on the topic of the deportation of 40,000 Baltic citizens to Siberia in 1941 in the drama Chronicles of Melanie, planned for completion in 2015.

TALLINN: Czech producer Michal Kracmer might need to stop pitching his new project Kids from the East for the time being. He has already won two accreditations to the Cannes Producers Network, most recently at the Baltic Event.

TALLINN: Latvian auteur and producer Laila Pakalnina is in postproduction with Dawn, a Latvian/Estonian/Polish coproduction which participated in the Baltic Event Works in Progress presentation on 26 November 2014.

VILNIUS: Lina Lužytė, one of Lithuania‘s young generation of film directors, is working on her debut feature film Do You Love Me (Ar tu mane myli).

BRATISLAVA: Peter Kerekes Film production company, represented by producer/director Peter Kerekes (Cooking History, Velvet Terrorists), is developing the documentary Censors, which recieved a grant of 25,000 EUR from the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme.

WARSAW: Danish director Mads Matthiensen is filming on his second feature, a Danish-Polish coproduction entitled The Model.

PRAGUE: Slovenian producer Danijel Hocevar of Vertigo told FNE that he is coproducing a film on the legendary Czech director Frantisek Cap with the Czech company Evolution Films.

BRATISLAVA: In one of the more curious incidents in Slovak history, its capital Bratislava was once known as Wilson City and its multi-ethnic leaders lobbied to have it declared a free town unattached to any country. PubRes and FilmBrigade are now in postproduction with a crime comedy set in 1919 Wilson City.

BRATISLAVA: Fool Moon production company, represented by producer/director Katarína Kerekesová (Stones, Mimi and Lisa), received a grant of 60,000 EUR from the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme for a 13 episode 3D animation series Websters, which shows the world from the four-eyed point of view a spider.

BRATISLAVA: Slovak producer Wanda Adamik Hrycová (Colette) of Wandal Production is in development with Schengen Story directed by Peter Bebjak.

WROCŁAW: Shooting on the ZDF docudrama Roads To Auschwitz...Staying Alive Was Not An Option directed by Oliver Halmburger has started in Wrocław.

PRAGUE: Shooting of the new film by Petr Nikolaev Dodgeball was competed at the end of September.

WARSAW: Accomplished Polish producer and screenwriter Michał Szczerbic makes his feature debut with a WWII drama Fair (Sprawiedliwy).

RIGA: Acclaimed Latvian director Laila Pakalnina is shooting a period drama, Dawn (Ausma), produced by her own studio Hargla.
