VILNIUS: The first Lithuanian-Latvian coproduction feature film The Gambler (Lošėjas) from director Ignas Jonynas is now in postproduction.

WARSAW: Polish documentary filmmaker Marcin Latałło is preparing Sailor in Łódź a feature comedy about a man who is lost in the fiction he creates.

KRAKOW: Magdalena Piekorz is developing a City(W)rites documentary with the working title Krakow Adama Zagajewskiego (Adam Zagajewski's Krakow).

WARSAW: Independent Polish art-house production company Koi Studio is in production with its first fiction feature film Little Crushes (Małe stłuczki).

KRAKOW: Private broadcaster TVN is increasing its more original Polish content with the addition of a new series, Szpital (The Hospital).

VILNIUS: Four directors have teamed up on the feature film Lonely Valentin (Valentinas Vienas) which is completing postproduction in advance of a pan-European premiere on 8 February 2013.

VILNIUS: Controversial director Emilis Velyvis is working on his new action-comedy-thriller Flight Redirected, the story of four friends turned first-time robbers, who get stranded in an Eastern Europe and have to find their way back, taking on smugglers, dirty cops and fantasies.

WARSAW: French director Leila Ferault-Levy and Polish producer Marcin Latałło’s Camera Obscura are in production on Cenotaphe (Pomnik), an intimate documentary on crimes of genocide committed during World War II.

WARSAW: Polish, German and English crews are in production On the Sea with Badjao, a documentary that shows an ironic clash of cultures that knows no winner.
