LUXEMBOURG: Producers from ten FNE countries are among the 52 participants selected for the EAVE Producers Workshop 2017. The first part of the workshop will take place in Luxembourg from 2 to 9 March 2017.

We are thrilled to announce officially the participants for the EAVE Producers Workshop 2017, selected out of 172 applications from 51 different countries.

BERLIN: Actors from Latvia, Slovenia, Romania and Poland are among the ten Shooting Stars 2017 announced by the European Film Promotion (EFP). The 20th Shooting Stars will be showcased during the 67th Berlin International Film Festival 2017 (9-19 February 2017).

VILNIUS: Liana Ruokytė-Jonsson was appointed Minister of Culture in Lithuania. She was previously the head of Department of Film Promotion, Information and Heritage in the Lithuanian Film Centre.

Jan Naszewski’s Polish sales outlet New Europe Film Sales announced that the popular programmer Marcin Łuczaj has joined the team of the Warsaw-based company as Acquisitons Executive and Head of Short Film Sales. He will represent New Europe at co-production markets and short film markets and coordinate the company’s acquisition efforts.
