German project wins third edition of Trieste co-production forum

Trieste, January 22, 2013 – ANISHOARA, the story of a 14-year-old girl from Moldavia suspended between childhood and adolescence is the winner of the third edition of When East Meets West.

PRAGUE: HBO Europe will roll out the premiere of the TV film Burning Bush, the story of Jan Palach directed by Agnieszka Holland, in 15 countries across Europe beginning 27 January 2013.

Echoes of Jihlava in Brussels / Jan 31 – Feb 3, 2013

Within the Festival Echoes, Jihlava IDFF will present its varied programme in the Cinéma Nova, an art cinema in Brussels.

Opened by the Slovak Film Institute in September 2011 on the site of the former Film Club, Cinema Lumière has two screening halls, both equipped for 35mm and with Dolby Stereo sound and equipped for DVD, blue-ray and HD.

The Georgian documentary "The Machine Which Makes Everything Disappear" will screen in the World Cinema Documentary Competition at the Sundance IFF.

FNE together with Europa Cinemas continues its Cinema of the Month series. In recognition of the hard work and excellence of European cinema operators we choose a cinema from each country covered by FNE each month.
